SpellBound AR – MRI Prototype
This is a prototype AR experience that I personally developed in Unity using Vuforia for my college internship (my work was a paid contract). The purpose of the experience is to educate children on what to expect when they are going in for an MRI. The goal is to reduce the high number of children that require sedation for the procedure.
Adventures in Cat Space
Adventures in Cat Space is a “Celestroidvania” about a cat named Fender who wakes up in an unfortunate situation. He finds himself trapped in spaceship where he’s defenseless against the threats around him and must use his cat-like instincts and abilities to escape the nightmare!
Game Jams and Small Projects
These game are smaller projects that I mainly made for fun.
My typical role on each project was as a technical designer who handled game design and Unity implementation.
Art and sound were primarily provided by others.
About Me
I’m a Systems focused game designer and a Teacher.
I’ve been making games since 2013 with a variety of tools/software (mainly Unity, but experience also includes Unreal, Godot, Roblox, Construct 3, and Lua). My background includes computer science, audio, and graphic design. I’m also experienced with a range of industry standard tools like Figma, Jira, and Confluence as well.
I’ve shipped multiple game to Steam and itch.io, built AR projects at a startup, and worked on everything from small solo prototypes to full releases with large teams. Alongside teaching game development, I’ve led teams and created a retro gaming podcast that landed in the top 2% globally.
